Painterly realism is at the heart of my landscapes, waterscapes, and flowers. I use oil paints on canvas to convey my adventures and experiences from nature. My art mixes layering and glazing techniques. I build up the layers using contrast and vibrant hues of color adding drama and emotion. Finishing the paintings, I use impasto brush strokes for texture highlighting the play of light and shadow giving the painting movement.
