Josiah received the 2023 Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts – John Rawlins Scholarship.
Through the encouragement of a friend and his family, he conquered his stage fright to begin
participating in the Oconomowoc High School theater program in his sophomore year and became
“hooked.” He played Oberon in Midsummer Night’s Dream in his last production. He is a respectful and
curious young man who is a quiet but firm leader among his peers. His accomplishments academically
include the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theater, and the International Thespian Society. Josiah
will attend UW-Whitewater in the fall to study Theater Education as he hopes to inspire the next
generation of young actors to overcome their stage fright.
